Signs that your battery pack needs servicing or replacement:

1. Meter doesn’t power on.
2. Meter only powers on when an external power source is attached.  (AC / Car Charger)
3. Meter battery gauge remains at one bar along with 2 question mark symbols (??).  Please see picture #2
4. Meter battery status light flashes (RED).  Please see picture #3
5. Meter battery info within settings is missing.  (This means that the battery pack is no longer communicating with the meter.)   Please see picture #4
6. Meter charge receptacle light fast flashes (RED) when external power source is attached.  (AC / Car Charger).  Please see picture #5
7. Meter run-time has drastically reduced over time, even though meter powers on and battery charges when external power source is attached.  (AC / Car Charger)
8. Please note that: Some of the above symptoms just might be that the fault is generated from your meter needing repairs.

At our facility

• Level 1 Repair Service  $105.00
• We will notify you when we receive your battery pack.
• A full diagnostic test will be performed on your battery pack.
• Activate the battery pack, if necessary. (This is only attainable If the BMS is not damaged)
• Evaluate battery cells and BMS.  If cells are within usable capacitance.  The customer will be informed of this value.
• If the existing cells are usable and the customer agrees with the provided values, we will proceed with Level 1 Servicing.
• This includes- servicing the existing cells. (This is a cell recovery process).  We will attempt to restore the battery cells to the highest capacity allowable by the cells state of health.
• If successful, we will then reactivate the BMS, and calibrate the battery pack.
• All done.  (No warranty is included with Level 1 Repair Service)

• If the existing cells are bad- Level 2 Service is required.  If the customer agrees to obtain Level 2 Repair Service, we will proceed with Level 2 Repair Service.
• If the customer already paid for Level 1 Repair Service.  The difference of $75.00 is due for advancing to Level 2 Repair Service.  Payment is due before work is completed.
• Please see (Repair Service Levels) below for the difference between Level 1 and Level 2 services.

• Level 2 Repair Service $180.00
• We will notify you when we receive your battery pack.
• A full diagnostic test will be performed on your battery pack.
• Activate the battery pack, if necessary. (This is only attainable If the BMS is not damaged)
• Based on the successful outcome of our diagnostic results- We will then proceed with L2 servicing.  This includes- installing new cells, reactivating the BMS, and calibrating the battery pack.
• The battery pack is then shipped back to the customer. 
• The battery pack will function as new.  The battery pack will include a new label affixed with Reconditioned date.
• One year warranty is included.  Warranty applies to Level 2 Repair Service only.

• (Non-Acceptance Battery Pack)
• If your battery pack falls under our (Non-Acceptance Battery Pack), Service will be voided and payment will be refunded less administrative fees, return shipping cost and provided shipping label.  Administrative fee is 5% of the total amount collected.  Please see below for our (Non-Acceptance Battery Pack Terms) If the battery pack is unsafe to ship back to customer, the battery pack will be discarded per regulations standards and requirement. Customer can arrange pickup.

Repair Service Levels

(Non-Acceptance Battery Pack Terms)

• Battery pack must be in acceptable condition. 
• Below is a list of conditions that falls under the (Non-Acceptance Battery Pack).
• Battery packs that have physical damage.
• Battery packs that have been disassembled.
• Battery packs that have been tampered with.
• Battery packs that have been penetrated or crushed.
• Battery packs that have damaged to cables or connectors.
• Battery packs that have damaged BMS (PCB, Circuit board)
• Battery pack that has been exposed to liquid.
• Battery pack that has corrosion. (Corroded internals)
• Battery pack that has been incinerated or exposed to high temperatures.
• The above conditions are not accepted.

• If your battery pack falls under our (Non-Acceptance Battery Pack).

Tech Tips:

1. We also offer repair service on the OneExpert ONX Series meters.  We see several meters with premature battery failure due to customer’s using low quality and or faulty chargers.  We all know that this battery pack is not cheap.  When not properly charged, over time the battery pack will possibly shut itself down. This will disable the battery pack, rendering it useless.  This will eventually cause damage to the cells, if they are not already damaged.
2. We do not recommend you using these cheap, low-quality chargers.  A low-quality power supply / charger can cause a number of issues, including: Unstable voltage=spikes, sags, dips and high ripple noise.  Lower / unstable current (amps) than what's labeled. 
3. Most times, the specs are not what's listed.  Why power / charge a $3k - $8.5k+ meter with a low-quality charger.
