JDSU's IVT600 Tri-Porter is the first all-in-one, low-cost, triple-play voice/data/video home cabling qualifier and tester. IVT600's multi-functional, broad-based capabilities test, qualify and assure quality signals with adequate capacity in one instrument. 

Cabling Tester includes main Tri Porter unit, remote tester/tracer and 20-piece wiremapping set for remote discovery of telephone, coax and network cables in a handy carrying case.

Use Tri-Porter to verify wiring integrity and for wire mapping on twisted-pair and coaxial cables. The two-component diagnostic test system features wiring qualification with fault diagnosis, cable tracing, location identification and presence of service detection for all three mediums.
Use this all-encompassing network tool to test, talk and trace in home and small office installations. For talk applications, it offers VoIP testing and SLIC emulation. To trace, it provides advanced tone generation and tracing including three different sounds with the ability to trace coax wires through splitters. Also perform outlet identification and active network Ethernet verification through DHCP and ping to verify network connectivity and ensure server connections are functioning properly. The main tester's backlit transflective two-line by 16-character LCD with custom icons displays results. Use the remote for tracing, cable testing and tone tracing with listen-only POTS test set capability. It features a probe for voltage, a coil for current and a combination of both tracing modes.
Perform telephony testing with jack wired to thee-pair USOC standard. Test cables. Use it as a telephone test set or SLIC (subscriber loop interface card) simulator and for tone generation. Data testing features jack wired to four-pair TIA568A/B standard. Capabilities include cable test, tone generation, hub blink port services and ping. To test video, F-coax plug with coupler provides jack attachment point. Test cables.
